After realizing I have a full four collections from Pink Gellac waiting to be published I figured it is about time to get a few of them up on the blog. I like to publish them in the order I received them, so first up is the Uncovered 7 collection that came out in autumn.
I am on Pink Gellac's press list so have been sent this collection. What I write about the polishes is of course my own thoughts.
First up is 329 Vanilla Cream, which I would describe as a very pleasant white, it has a bit of grey and yellow in it which makes it very wearable. What adds to that effect is that it's a jelly that builds up nicely. I am wearing three coats.
Next up is two coats of 330 Caramel Beige. This shade is not at all something I enjoy, it's like a beige with a lot of warm peachy tones. I think it doesn't go too well with my skin tone, but perhaps it's for someone else!
Now 331 Copper Gold is a lot more my style! I'm wearing two coats of this shade that consists of small flakes in reddish and gold tones. It looks quite duochrome in my pictures, which I don't see as much off on the swatch stick, but for sure a fun and wearable shade.
Next up is 332 Sangria Red and it really does its name justice. It's a deep wine red shade. I'm wearing two coats, which in the pictures feels a bit too little, but under normal light, it is perfectly adequate.
Last but definitely not least is 333 Oriental Spice which is the other really exciting shade in this collection, in my opinion. I'm wearing two coats, and its a dark red with shimmer in red and gold. The effect is rather a brownish red, but still with a lot of sparkle.
